Portfolio Management
concentration risk
Risque de concentration
The risk that an exchange-traded fund (ETF) is heavily exposed to a single security or a single industry sector, since it is not subject to the same concentration limits as mutual funds. As a result, following a sharp rise in a particular sector, an ETF may hold more than 10% of its assets in a single security or more than 40% in a single sector.
