Portfolio Management
interest rate anticipation
Anticipation des taux d'intérêt
An investment philosophy relating to fixed-income securities that involves switching from long-term government bonds to very short-term Treasury bills, and vice versa, based on interest rate forecasts over a given time horizon. Price sensitivity to interest rate fluctuations increases as the time to maturity lengthens and the coupon rate decreases.
